Pike County Recycling Information

There is no public recycling or drop off locations in Greene Township; however, the Wayne County Recycling Center and its drop off locations can be used by Pike County Residents.

The following materials are accepted at the drop-off sites: clear, brown and green glass bottles, metal cans, aluminum cans, Number 1 and Number 2 plastic bottles, newspapers, magazines and junk mail and office paper. Materials are to be dropped off only during operating hours.

  • Paupack Township Building: 25 Daniels Rd., Lakeville, PA 18438
    2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month – 9am-noon
  • Sterling Township Building: 1066 Maple Grove Rd., Sterling, PA 18463
    3rd Saturday of the month – 9am-1pm
  • Salem Township Senior Center: 606 PA-590 Hamlin, PA 18427
    3rd Saturday of the month – 8am-noon
  • Hawley Senior Center in Bingham Park: 300 Park Place, Hawley, PA 18428
    1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month – 9am-1pm
  • Lake Township Building: Easton Turnpike, Lake Ariel, PA 18436
    2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month – 9am-noon

The main center is located at 66 Volunteer Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431. Monday to Friday – 7am-4:30pm & Saturday 7am-1pm.
