Ordinance #99 – Short-Term Rental Ordinance

The Greene Township, Pike County, Board of Supervisors have adopted Ordinance #99 – Short-Term Rental Ordinance at the regular meeting on November 2, 2022.

Ordinance #99 will regulate short-term rentals within the township and establish penalties for violations. A copy of the ordinance is available for review below.

The ordinance shall become effective at the Reorganization Meeting, January 3, 2023. The owner of any short-term rental within the township shall have sixty (60) days from the effective date of this ordinance to comply with its provisions.

The Short-Term Rental Ordinance fees do not generate revenue for the township. All fees are to cover the cost of inspections and administration time.

All fees are due at time of initial application submission, then on an annual basis by February 15th. Fees are set by resolution and are subject to change at any time. For more information regarding fees, see Section 11 – Application and Renewal Fees of the ordinance.
